Patsy & Ted's House
Northampton, Massachusetts
Patsy & Ted

Summary
We are in a beautiful neighborhood just one block away from Smith College campus and a ten minute walk to downtown Northampton. Our three-story colonial-style house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a half bath and is both spacious and full of natural light.

The first floor includes a large eat-in kitchen with a gas stove and a big picture window overlooking our yard. It also includes a dining room that can fit 10 comfortably, a living room with a fireplace, a sun room with a t.v., and a half bathroom. All floors are hardwood except the sunroom which is carpeted.

Up on the second floor, you will find two children’s bedrooms, one with a crib and another with a twin size bed, as well as an office space and a newly remodeled full bathroom. In addition, there is a sun-soaked master bedroom with a king size bed including another full bathroom featuring a large tiled, glassed-in shower that can fit two. All floors are hardwood except for the master bedroom which is carpeted.

The third floor or attic is the surprise not to be missed with wonderful views of the Pioneer Valley! It features a king size bedroom with wood floors, a full bathroom with a soaking tub, a small art studio space and a carpeted open area for yoga or play.

About this member
My husband and I moved to Northampton 5 years ago after living many places around the country. We picked the area because we wanted to be in a place where we had easy access to the outdoors AND an airport so that we could travel. We have two girls who are 2 and 4 years old.

Ted is a consultant working on international poverty reduction through economic development and I am an educator who has worked both in the States as well as overseas.

Interests
We both love to cook and entertain and generally spend time with our friends and family. Our love of the outdoors extends into all sorts of activities including hiking, biking, x-country skiing, snow-shoeing and snow-boarding. We try to travel as much as possible and hope that Campus Home Exchange will enable us to discover new places.
